ASIA PACIFIC GREENS NETWORK FIVE YEAR STRATEGIC PLAN
PART B: OPERATIONAL PLAN 2010
Proposal by the Australian Greens
APGN 2010 Congress, Taipei, 30 April – 2 May 2010
This document is Part B of an Australian Greens’ Five Year Strategic Plan
Proposal for the APGN 2010 Congress. It explains the use of operational
plans and aims at putting into action the Five Year Strategic Plan, Part A of
the Australian Greens’ Proposal, contained in a separate document entitled
Asia Pacific Greens Network Five Year Strategic Plan. Part A. Strategic Plan
2010-2015.
Operational plans describe activities planned for each year. They identify the
person or group responsible to ensure that each activity is carried out.
A Coordinating Group is needed to make sure this happens. This Group will
be set up by the APGN restructure that will be considered at the Taipei
Congress.
[A 2010 Operational Plan will be finalised at the APGN 2010 Congress in Taipei. The details
to be included will be decided at that Congress. We will need to agree on the objectives and
strategies, decide on priorities for action, and identify individuals or groups able and willing to
take on each item.
Below is a sample 2010 Operational Plan showing how the actions could be set out.
Following this sample is a list of alternative actions that could be included in the final 2010
Operational Plan. Others could be considered in the following years. Please bring up further
ideas and actions at the APGN 2010 Congress.
Each year’s operational plan should list at the end of the year both a review of progress that
year and finalisation of the next year’s operational plan.]
